Long Weekend

The long weekend is over, but there are better things to look forward to, like a short week. It takes some planning to be able to accomplish your weeks tasks so that you can enjoy your weekend and not have to think about work. Labor day is one of those ironic holidays for me. "Holiday" means day off to most, but a great deal of work goes into having a successful Labor Day. It involves setting up and taking down canopies, moving tables and chairs, and cooking. After the day is finished, even after all the work, it is still better than any day in the office.

  1. For my mom, labor day meant, "clean the whole house or else day".
