In the Moodle room we had to explain cause and effect and the writing process worksheet by Richard Blaylock.
Causes and effects deal with reasons and results; they are sometimes discussed together and sometimes separately. Like other forms of writing to explain, writing about causes and effects is based on natural thought processes.

I think this is the quote about the dentist who didn't like to hurt his patients. It's inevitable to not hurt your patients.
