We have a few of choises that we can choose to do on our final.
1. Take the Final Exam (Includes Tests 1-4, plus Chapters 12-16)
2. Create an anthology of 10 poems/short stories. The poems and stories can be of any genre, but be sure they follow the criteria we mentioned in class. Each poem should be at least 10 lines each and each short story should be at least 5 pages long.
Additionally, your poems can be romantic poems, historical poems, etc. Poems based on personal experiences are even more meaningful, although keep in mind that your wording must be grammatically correct. Moreover, writing poems in itself is a creative expression of applying your English skills.
3. Create an anthology of 5 poems and 5 short stories.
4. Create a short story that is 40 pages long.
5. Create a 10 page play.
6. Create a class web site with literacy topics, such as family literacy, a variety of genre poems, literacy programs, recommended children's books, literacy events, tips for reading and writing, literacy web links, and literacy assessment.
Eg. http://lowe221.googlepages.com/home
*NOTE: The site must be created on googlepages.com or geocities.com, which are both free web hosts.
7. Write 5 inspirational poems to be submitted to the Micronesian Poets Club - http://mnrivera1.com/micronesianpoetsonline Each poem must have at least 10 lines each. You must also include an inspirational message for each poem, as well as list the village & island you're from. Additionally, you must sign the guestbook there.
