Today in the Moodle room we are discussing the dilemma that Chantra is in which is to follow tradition or follow her heart. Basically the essay is about Chantra debating whether she should respect her crying mother's wishes or follow the American traditions. I'm glad that I have the freedom to choose who I want to marry because marriages get difficult if the couple doesn't have an understanding of each other. How can you marry someone that your parents choose and not someone that you have fell in love with yourself?

Hi Alyssa: Today moddle session Shastri has to follow her mothers culture. She cannot choose a man that she loves because of her mothter culture. I glad that I do not have a culture like that. We are lucky because we could choose the one we love.
